Yet another good year at Whiskey Flat Days in Kernville. The weather was beautiful!

I did have some issues on Friday afternoon when the chemistry heated up — but after moving my darkbox into the shade and waiting a bit, I was able to capture the image here.

Perry is one of our resident miners. This year was the first year with the mining tunnel. It was fun hearing “Fire in the hole!” when they were “blasting” in the tunnel.

And here is my humble tent and workshop. I must bring everything I need with me — including a darkroom (the box with the Photographer sign in front)! I ended up moving it into the tent for most of the weekend to keep it out of direct sun.
